Earning YAP

Finish verified lessons and assessments, earn YAP with stable, predictable payouts.

These mechanics are our current vision and will be refined before the Token Generation Event (TGE) based on beta feedback and live data.

Earning YAP

YAP rewards actual speaking practice. You earn tokens by completing verified speaking lessons, unit quizzes, and milestone assessments. Rewards come from a dedicated Learner Rewards pool and are budgeted so payouts are steady and fair. Tokens buy premium lessons, extra AI coaching, credentialing, and other meaningful product features — and we cover learner gas so you never need crypto to participate.

How you earn

Complete a lesson that passes verification and you earn YAP. Quizzes after units and milestone exams every ~10 lessons create layered progression so small wins and big steps both pay. High-quality performance and consistent practice are rewarded more than repeated low-effort attempts.

Why we reward this way

Putting rewards on verified speech creates public, auditable signals of real learning. That raises the token’s utility because institutions will pay for trustworthy Proof-of-Language-Learning (PoLL), which in turn funds future rewards and product growth.

Fairness and quality

Rewards bias toward true learning, not speed. Higher scores and stronger verification yield multiplier bonuses, verification tiers unlock larger earning ceilings, and hourly budgeting avoids rush-hour drains so everyone worldwide has access.

• Milestones use randomized question sets; top-tier verification adds video checks for extra reliability.

Claim Rules and Anti-Gaming Measures

We only pay for verified, unique work. Each rewardable interaction must be tied to a distinct lesson or assessment, and high-volume claims require stronger attestations. Accounts that behave suspiciously are flagged, reviewed, and can lose recent rewards or be banned. Higher-value claims require staking and are subject to slashing on proven fraud.

circle-info

• Three gates per reward: cryptographic liveness, voiceprint consistency, and AI fluency assessment. • Additional attestations for high-volume rewards: longer speaking tasks, externally verifiable tasks, or identity attestations (KYC). • Daily reward caps per wallet, device/IP limits, short transfer locks on newly minted tokens, anomaly detection, and manual review workflows.

Reward Pool Mechanics

Rewards are paid from a time-locked Learner Rewards pool. Tokens are released on a predictable schedule to avoid early inflation and to match reward supply with real user growth. As the pool diminishes, rewards transition to income-sourced funding (premium features and institutional revenue), keeping the model sustainable without uncontrolled issuance.

circle-info

• Learner Rewards Pool: 500,000,000 YAP cap. • Example drip: 12,000,000 YAP released in month one, then monthly batches that decay over five years to pace growth and avoid burnout. • As the pool winds down, payouts increasingly draw on premium tool revenue and partnership income.

Dynamic Reward Adjustments

Each verified lesson uses a predictable formula so issuance is auditable and adjustable. The base reward is modified by difficulty, measurable improvement, and retention streaks. We recalculate base rewards each epoch so payouts stay aligned with treasury health and user activity.

circle-info

• RewardPerLesson = BaseReward × DifficultyFactor × ImprovementFactor × RetentionFactor • BaseReward decays as active user counts and epochs evolve. Epoch = quarterly period; at each epoch we recompute BaseReward based on treasury runway, active learners, and institutional demand.

YAP’s earning model pays for verified, high-quality speaking, budgets rewards to ensure global fairness, and uses tiered verification plus staking to defend the system from abuse: all while migrating long-term payouts toward real revenue so the economy endures.
