YAP’s economy rewards real speaking practice, not clicks. You earn YAP for verified lessons, quizzes, and milestone assessments, and you spend YAP to unlock tougher practice, live AI coaching, personalized paths, and community features. Every spend splits 50 percent to a permanent burn and 50 percent to the treasury, which funds new content and sustains the system. Rewards are budgeted hourly, gated by verification tiers and caps, and learners never pay gas.

Earning YAP

Complete a verified lesson and you earn YAP. Verification requires structural correctness, cryptographic liveness, and AI fluency scoring. Rewards are deterministic and auditable, paid from the Community Rewards pool with hourly budgets and per-user limits to prevent rush-hour drain and volume gaming.

Spending YAP

Spend tokens to access premium modules, extra AI minutes, curated tracks, leaderboards, group quests, and institutional PoLL attestations. Each spend burns half the amount, the remainder funds the treasury for content, partnerships, and gas subsidies.

Fairness & Anti-Abuse

We protect the economy with layered defenses: verification tiers that unlock higher earning ceilings, one-claim-per-lesson, device and IP rate limits, short transfer locks on freshly minted tokens, hourly reward budgets, automated anomaly detection, and manual reviews. Higher-value rewards require stronger verification and staking; proven fraud triggers slashing.

Staking & Additional Utility

Staking is required for elevated attestations and premium reward tiers, and it powers governance and creator incentives (staking for prize pools, moderator bonds, and reputation). Staked tokens align economic skin-in-the-game and provide a mechanism to elevate trust and utility over time.

YAP uses a sponsor wallet to cover learner gas so token interactions are gasless for end users. Tokens are pre-minted and allocated per the published distribution and vesting schedule; no new issuance beyond the cap.
