Interoperability Standards and Integration

YAP uses open educational and technical standards so credentials are portable, verifiable, and usable across institutions, employers, and other learning platforms.

YAP does not invent a proprietary credential format. We adopt the W3C Verifiable Credentials model encoded as JSON-LD, and we provide alternative outputs such as Open Badges 3.0, signed PDF exports, and CSV for enterprise ingestion. Each credential includes compact blockchain metadata like transaction hashes and block anchors so third parties can verify authenticity without changing their existing pipelines. We align credential semantics with established education frameworks, primarily CEFR, with optional mappings to ACTFL and ILR. To avoid vendor lock-in we support multi-chain verification through Merkle proof relays, state proof verification, and threshold-signature bridges so credentials remain portable across blockchain ecosystems.
