Treasury Policy

Every spend burns supply and funds building. Clear rules for reserves and buys.

1. Revenue Routing (Enforced in Contract)

Every in-app spend follows the same immutable split:

  • 50% → Permanent Burn Tokens are sent to an irrecoverable burn address, reducing circulating supply forever.

  • 50% → Treasury Used for ecosystem expansion, security, operations, and community programs.

This split is hard-coded. No operator can reroute funds.

2. Use of Treasury Funds

Treasury allocations focus on long-term protocol growth:

  • New Content & Languages Expansion of speaking lessons, assessments, and new language tracks.

  • Creator Grants & Quest Funding Community-driven content creation, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.

  • Security Audits & Core Infrastructure Protecting the protocol, scaling systems, and maintaining uptime.

  • Targeted Global Growth Programs Market-entry initiatives, institutional onboarding, and verified-learning partners.

  • Market-Making Reserve (Limited & Disclosed) A small, pre-declared reserve may be used for:

    • Liquidity support during disorderly markets

    • Controlled buybacks when volatility threatens protocol stability

    Strict rules:

    • Reserve size is published ahead of time

    • All actions are pre-announced

    • No discretionary trading outside the stated policy

3. Undetermined Burn Rate & Future Community Treasury

Given today’s early uncertainties in costs, burn rate remains undetermined. As revenue matures, a portion of token-denominated Treasury inflows will be set aside for a Community Treasury governed by token holders.

This creates a long-term, decentralized funding loop for user-driven initiatives.

4. Governance & Treasury Changes

All treasury-related rule changes require:

  1. A public notice period,

  2. An on-chain governance event, and

  3. A time-locked contract update.

Nothing moves quietly or off-ledger.

5. Transparency & Reporting

The protocol publishes quarterly reports covering:

  • Treasury inflows

  • Treasury outflows

  • Tokens burned

  • Market-making reserve movements

  • Estimated runway and projections

All key metrics — burn addresses, treasury balances, oracle references, reserve parameters — are displayed in a public dashboard.
